On April 16, 2026, the clergyman was stopped at a checkpoint and forcibly taken to the Okhtyrka District TRC, ostensibly "for data verification."
Despite providing all necessary documents confirming his holy orders, Father Bohdan was held in the TRC building for two days. The clergyman's mobile phone was also confiscated.
Current Status
On April 17, 2026, Father Bohdan Huliak was released.
