On March 27, 2026, employees of the TRC and SBU detained and forcibly brought to the military commissariat two clergymen of the men's monastery in honor of the Pishchanska Icon of the Mother of God of the UOC in the city of Izium, Kharkiv Oblast.

According to eyewitnesses and the victims themselves, representatives of the security forces acted aggressively. It is reported that SBU and TRC officers stormed the monastery grounds and used physical force during the detention of the clergymen.

The clergymen were then restrained, forcibly placed into a vehicle, and taken in an unknown direction.

Hieromonk Arseniy managed to publish a message on social media requesting prayers.
