Archpriest Alexander Chernyadyev

🔴On February 5, 2026, in the city of Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, employees of the TCC detained the rector of the Holy Trinity Church of the Kryvyi Rih Diocese of the UOC, Archpriest Alexander Chernyadyev.

According to parishioners' accounts, the clergyman was on the church grounds wearing a cassock and cross when representatives of the TCC approached him and carried out the detention.

Afterward, Archpriest Alexander was taken to the TCC office in the city of Dnipro, where he was forcibly held. The current whereabouts and fate of the priest are unknown.
