On September 11, 2025, employees of the TRC abducted the rector of the UOC Church of the Prophet Elijah in the village of Valiava, Chernivtsi Oblast — Archpriest Mykola Hryha.

This was reported by the Facebook page "Virni Chernivetsko-Bukovynskoi yeparkhii UPTs" (Faithful of the Chernivtsi-Bukovyna Diocese of the UOC).

The clergyman was taken to the TRC premises in the city of Chernivtsi.
