Former head of the Kyiv-Svyatoshinsky District State Administration, businessman, activist.

Serhiy Vozny is a serial church raider who helped organize the seizures of UOC churches in the Kyivo-Svyatoshinsky, Borodyansky, Makarivsky, and Vasylkivsky districts of the Kyiv region.
To organize this series of crimes, Vozny assembled a criminal group consisting of Igor Grishachev and Ivan Galunga, who was accused of human trafficking.

Vozny and his criminal group provided consultations to OCU activists on falsifying documents for UOC churches and personally participated in corporate raids.

On June 26, 2022, the process of document falsification began at the St. Michael's Church of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Belogorodka, Kyiv Region.

Following the church's illegal re-registration within the OCU, a lengthy legal battle ensued. The church in Belogorodka was seized by OCU activists and police on June 25, 2023.

On his Facebook page, Sergei Vozny admitted that he helped activists organize a raid on the church.

"I am especially pleased that my team of human rights activists and lawyers and I helped the Mykhailivka community defend its choice of state. Finally, a prayer in Ukrainian language is heard in Michael’s Church! A prayer for Ukraine, for freedom, for our warrior defenders, and for all the Ukrainian people.
After the service, His Beatitude Metropolitan Epiphanius awarded me a high church order. I am deeply grateful to our spiritual leader Epiphanius for this award and for such high recognition of my service to the Ukrainian people and my service to society.
I believe this award is for all my like-minded people, for the team of people who, on a volunteer basis, defend the right of OCU believers to have their own church and to pray to God in Ukrainian without fear of persecution from Kremlin agents!"

On July 13, 2023, the OCU head, Epiphaniy Dumenko, awarded the criminal with the Order of St. George the Victorious for his assistance in seizing the church.

On June 9, 2023, with the help of Serhiy Vozny and his accomplices, a raider meeting was organized in the urban-type settlement of Borodyanka, Kyiv region.

The criminals' target was the UOC Church of the Archangel Michael.

On November 20, 2023, at 4:00 a.m., a group of unknown individuals in military uniform, led by clergy of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, arrived at the St. Michael's Temple of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Borodyanka. A large number of police officers arrived at the scene along with the raiders.

The church's parishioners, praying in their holy place, came out to meet the invaders.
The arrivals refused to identify themselves and did not show any documents. There was an order to expel the UOC faithful and cut the locks.

According to eyewitnesses, uniformed men, under police cover, literally threw parishioners out of the church porch. They started to cut the locks on three doors.

The OCU raiders stormed the church and declared it to be their property. Video footage and numerous testimonies indicate that Sergei Vozny was among the raiders.

On June 30, 2023, Serhiy Vozny took part in organizing an illegal meeting of the territorial community in Vorzel city, Kyiv region.

At the event, a group of individuals with no connection to the religious community of the St. Peter and Paul’s Temple of the UOC falsified documents and "transferred" the church to the OCU.
Moreover, in his publication, Vozny admitted that the territorial community of Vorzel city was present at the scene, but not the religious community of the church.

"Father Ivan refused to speak in front of the people, saying he would, but only to the community. It's still unclear who his community is, but it's clear it's definitely not the community of Vorzel!"

Vozny was identified as one of the initiators of the crime.

A group of people whom Vozny brought to the cultural center, imitating religious communities, transferred two churches at once to the OCU.

Parishioners came to the community center where the meeting was announced to express their opposition to this crime.

To participate in the meeting, the OCU raiders demanded that they "register on the list." When the believers asked to see the document header, which required their signatures, the criminals refused.

Activists deliberately concealed this information to prevent the fraud from being exposed.
Those who sign up immediately sign a statement stating "transition to the OCU."
